On Tuesday August 12, 2025 the Kern County Board of Education unanimously voted and signed a resolution 6-0 to enact Title IX back to its original intent- protecting girls in female sports by stating no boys to compete against girls. This has caused a stir locally and nationwide, hitting social media and national media like Newsmax, Fox News, Patriot One and KGET, KBAK, KERO and possibly others. They also signed a solution No to AB 495 which would allow a stranger that filled out a form to have access to any student without parental notification, court order or background check potentially enabling child trafficking. Linda McMahon, Secretary of the Department of Education posted on “X” “the board made a courageous decision to defy their reckless Governor”. Mary Little, president of the board and Lori Cisneros, the author of the resolution, have both been interviewed by these medias.
Revere Resource Group gives kudos to our conservative board members that started a new trend for their board. President Mary Little Area 3, Lori Eskew, Trustee, Area 5, James Robinson, Trustee, Area 6, Lori Cisneros, Trustee Area 7.
Dr. Mendiburu sent an email to all superintendents in Kern County to encourage them to do the same. The resolution was sent to the legislators, California Department of Education and the Governor.
This act is a profound Godly move for our County protecting our children and making this the Golden Age of the Golden Empire.
THANK YOU, TRUSTEES, FOR YOUR STAND!
